I am looking at payload weight for the MyT mount and wondered. Is the 50lbs it's rated for the visual weight or is it the maximum you can have on it for astrophotography equipment? My setup consists of a Edge HD 1100 with 60mm guide scope, hyperstar or reducer and ZWO ASI071MC Pro. All together about 42 pounds of gear.
I have an unexpired license for the SkyX professional for windows. I tried to download the Raspberry Pi version and it says download denied. How do I download it? Do I need an additional license?
hi, I’d like to know if I can order an MX+ and associated accessories and personally come and pick them up? I live in Calgary AB and could drive there to pick it up in May instead of having it shipped. Is there a back-order? Would we need to agree on a pickup date? Could I be assured it will be ready and set aside for me on that date? Is there still a packing fee? Are there any other cost savings?
thanks for your time and response.

Friends,
I installed the Bisque TCS on a custom-made Springfield Mount telescope in 2005 -06, on Maui, HI. See: https://alaskaappliedsciences.com/big-blue-telescope/
We did not operate it under the sky, but only enough to validate basic operations after installing the hardware and motors on the Big Blue telescope, which had been in service on the roof of the Hyatt Regency Maui resort hotel since ~ 1991.
We shipped the disassembled, crated telescope to Socorro, NM, where it has reposed in its crate since.
I will be in Socorro Dec 7-9 to assemble Big Blue indoors on a wood pallet, and hope to find the Bisque TCS working. Is it supported by Software Bisque now ? If not, does someone else have experience with it, to help us if we're stuck ?
Thanks very much
Not sure which forum to present this to, so I'm trying this way.
I need some help configuring a connection between TSX Pro and Backyard Nikon. I am trying to connect a D610 to TSX. It connects readily to BYN, will focus and will capture an image there. But after starting TSX, selection O'Telescope and Backyard Nikon, I cannot connect consistently or normally to BYN. Sometimes I get a timeout error (#207), sometiimes after timeout the "connecting" changes to "ready" and I can trigger the BYN Nikon with "take photo". This morning, I started BYN, connected the Nikon, then started TSX, connected to it after timeout and when I selected "take photo", I got a Raw NEF in BYN's folder and a FITS in TSX's folder on onscreen in TSX. Called to breakfast, I shut down everything and ate breakfast. When I restarted everything the next time, TSX would not connect and I've spent the rest of the day trying to config both software packages but with no luck repeating this morning. I have "triggered" the BYN camera with TSX but never got the corresponding FITS in TSX. I'm at a lose. Any ideas would be more than welcome.
I am using a 7-port USB hub connected to a USB to ethernet converter to carry the data from my backyard into my house. I've confirmed that BYN and TSX are both looking at Port 1499 and using 3rd party TCP server setting. I'm am able to connect to the Moonlite focuser and the AVX mount with TSX, but I'm only connecting to the Nikon until this issue is resolved.
Thanks.
Hi - I have heard that due to a version mismatch, TheSkyX can't control a Celestron scope that uses Celestron's StarSense auto-align feature. However, I have also heard that in a recent update, TheSkyX has fixed this bug and StarSense is now supported. Before I buy anything, could someone at Bisque confirm that TheSkyX does in fact work with StarSense?
If so, do both the Serious and Professional editions support StarSense?
Thanks for any info.
I already own and use sky X pro and was wondering if I could purchase MYT without thumb drive containing Sky X
Can I use T point with an ascom controlle mount in my case Avalon Linear mount with EQ mod control

Can I renew an expired Sky X subscription?
Hi,
In 2001 I purchased The Sky Pocket Addition (serial no. {redacted}) to run on my IPAQ, then in 2004 I upgraded to the Pocket PC edition using the information provided with my original purchase.
I am starting to resume use of my telescope and would like to purchase TheSkyX Serious Astronomer Edition.
Can I use my previous purchases to treat my new purchase as an 'upgrade'.
Regards,
Kerry
I have watched the YouTube video that you folks produced showing how to lubricate the gears on the Paramount ME, Mx, etc..., but it doesn't reference the MyT mount.
Are the procedures the same for the MyT mount? If so, where can I get instructions or see a video showing how to remove the worm block so I can get at the gears in the MyT mount? Thanks!
The telescope mount (paramount me ii) will no longer connect to the computer (windows 10 w/ skyX version 10.5.0 build 10305 professional edition). There is no com port for the telescope that shows up under "mount settings" when I try to connect the telescope to the SkyX. On my Windows 10 machine, I notice there is a problem with the telescope USB device in the Device Manager. It says that Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43). I tried to uninstall the driver and re-install the driver, but I get the same error in Device Manager.
I cannot remember if I need to do anything to the mount to get the joystick on the handpaddle to work (other than make sure the mount is on and the joystick is plugged in), but at the moment, it does not move the mount.
Can you help me figure out what to check next? I cannot quite figure out if this is a complete hardware problem or some other software problem.
I have an older Meade LX200 SCT with an SBIG ST8300M camera with filter wheel. I have been using a Windows PC for years but have recently switched to MacBook Pro. Will the Sky X Pro with camera add-on work with my Mac, scope and camera?
I own an LX200 12" ACE SCT with a fork mount. How do I set the mount type? The icon implies that the mount is a GEM. Or is this scope have a default setting of Alt/AZ? Am I going to need a wedge?
Clear skies,
Al
Hi,
I like to order The Sky and like to pay by PayPal.
I do not pay with credit card.
Do you have this possibility soon?
Thanks and best regards

Hello !
what are my options to upgrade my GT1100S mount purchased in 1999 in order to use the latest control software and also support USB 3.0 on the scope?

I just bought TheSkyX Serious version software and am unable to connect to my Celestron SCT on an Advanced VX mount. The hand control version is 'GEM 5.28.5300' & the motor control is version 7.11.5056.
I've ohmed out the cable and verified the hand control physical RJ22 connection, both seem to be ok and I've verified the USB to serial adapter is functional. I've tried changing the port and communication settings. I would imagine the system would use default comm port values but haven't had any success.
Please let me know if I'm missing something or if there are other issues with this connection.
Thanks,
Don
Hello
I have been using Sky v6 with a Paramount ME for many years reliably and have just switched to SkyX pro. Running the latest version on Win7. I'm now feeling like a newbie, as pointing is way off and I don't seem to be able to get a synch to work at all. I have the correct time and lat/long entered as far as I can tell. No pointing cursor showing either and slew limits are getting in the way too (slew limits errors appearing with every slew attempt)
Are there other settings I am missing for the PME and SkyX?
thanks
Guy
