Clicking on The SkyX desktop icon brings up error "there is no disk in the drive" dialog box

first install on a new 64 bit Win10 system. Software appeared to install normally. Clicking on TheSky desktop icon brings up error "there is no disk in the drive".  Clicking any option will then allow the program to load.but this occurs each startup. Software controls my Paramount ME normally. 2x adaptor installed

However, when using Maxim v 5.23 there is a multi - second delay from when a slew command is sent until the slew is actually initiated. Controlling mount via MicroGuide.

I'm a long time user with same software, never had this problem before

Could the two issues be related?
