RMA 32562 - old MKS 5000 circuit board shipped via UPS to SB on 10/7/19. You should have received this board on 10/11/19. A new MKS 5000 circuit board was ordered on 10/04/19 per INV 34954. What are the status of the new board shipment and your stated 50% refund on the cost of the new board?

Just upgraded to Mac 10.15 Catalina. Now find my Sky X Pro will not work...needs an update from 21 to 64 bit. Been searching your website, don't see an available update as yet. Am I correct, or just missing it?

this seems like a very amateurish question, but I have never known how it works. I know I have a very old version of theskyx. you told me once it was from 2014. I never paid the yearly money to keep the updates, however I bought my mount in 2016, and I did update theskyx when I first bought it.
can I just renew the subscription and download proper updates, as in full updates? I always thought this wasn't possible, but after reading a little bit it looks like maybe it is.
I get the following error message when attempting to purchase" "Order Failed 2:The transaction has been declined because of an AVS mismatch...."
The billing address I entered is my home and the same address as on my credit card.

Currently using a C14Edge, with light mono and color cameras. Ultimate, 16-18" with an SBIG camera. No dew shield but there is a USB HUB, Kendricks dew straps, and controller, finder scope, and a piggyback mount for a camera, but that is it. And, since target is astrophotography, is it better to just bite the bullet?
Also, Wayne, at SkyShed, told me about the new encoders (?) that keep the scope / mount perfectly aligned (as long as clutches aren't released). Do those need to be added at purchase, or can they be added later by myself, or is that a factory upgrade?

In the course of a telescope control system upgrade I got a new box version of TheSky X Pro; it was installed during the upgrade by DFM. I'm the person in charge of the telescope and this SW for my organization.
1. How do I change the installed version of TheSky X to associate it with my bisque.com username?
2. I need four more Windows seats of TheSky X Pro, and one Mac seat. I also need camera addons for these, and for the version already installed. All these should be associated with my bisque.com username. What instructions do I give my procurement people, to make this so? Whom should they contact?

I have a 0.4m (16 inch) ScopeCraft telescope (vintage 2006).(Professional research grade telescope). It came with the DriveScope & WinScope software. It has been working OK..
The ScopeCraft (GOTO) has stepper motors on both axes interfaced to the DriveScope and PC computer.
Because the Scopecraft/DriveScope are not made any more I am concerned that in time it will become obsolete. Are there parts on the ScopeCraft that don't need to be replaced..
Is there an advantage, if any, replacing this drive system with a MKS 5000? Does it mean replacing the stepper motors,with SB motors and encoders, etc.
Does the MKS 5000 have absolute encoders built in for the SB motors? Will it mean making special adapters for each new SB motor.
Your help in clarifying would be much appreciated.

I am a user of the SkyX Professional Edition. I've been using the Sky for throughout many upgrades over the years. For the past year or so, Apple has been popping up warnings on our computers saying a lot of apps would no longer work when the new OS comes out.
So, now the new OS has come out and one of the app that no longer will work is The SkyX. Does Software Bisque plan to come out with a version that will work on my Apple? I really hate to lose the Sky because astronomy has been a really fun hobby. I will need to find some software that will work with my Mac and my telescope.
Does Software Bisque (or anyone else) sell a carrying case for a SB MX+ ? I need to be portable (remote site).
I was trying to connect my Atlux SS2K V2.06 to the Sky Serious Astronomer. The menu has Vixen, Atlux, the the other newer mounts like the Sphinx. If the Atlux is selected the driver displayed is for the Sphinx. The Sphinx driver does not work for the Skysensor 2000. The Sphinx connects through a iP address and the Skysensor2k connects through a port. va usb or x232

Does your software id each store with its SAO number. The Meade lx200gps uses sao numbers to get to unamed stars. If not, how do you id each star?
Mac OS X (10.15) no longer supports 32 bit apps. Will there be a 64bit version of First Light for those who have lost the ability to use the current 32bit version?

I have decided to give my trusty 8 year old PMX some TLC.
In order to bring the mount back to as new condition, I need the following:
New Versa Plate.
Question: Does the versa plate come with the Instrument Panel PCB, PCB case, and cables ? The USB sockets have corroded on my current PCB and where they terminate on the MKS5000 the connectors have broken.
If I need to order the Instrument Panel PCB separately, does it come with the cables ?
I assume the Versa Plate comes with the brass plungers.
