System used:
Acer Aspire 5560 quadcore 64bit laptop (6GHz RAM, 500GB hard drive) loaded with SkyXPro running into a Meade LX200GPS 14".
Difficulty: everything establishes and seems to run fine, until I connect the Telescope through the RS232 lead Manual access to SkyX Pro and select "Connect" The whole HMI interface then becomes tediously slow.
Observation: The RS232 seems only to pole every 30+ seconds. The screen display whites out (very annoying at night) if you try to access or change a setting/requirement more than once during the 30 second intervals. Access time to the system (after each 30seconds is around 2 to 3 seconds. The headed reads "System not responding" during the 30second period.
Is there some setting that I can control the poling times to/from the Meade and the Computer to lesen this dead time?.
As a check - I have Loaded Meade Autostar II and connected the same through the same computer. This operates extremely well and no poling delay the RS232 poles continuously as requirements and updates traverse between Computer and the LX200. But I want to do it frm SkyX Pro.
