Hi Daniel and Stephen,
I am ready to pull the trigger on a new mount, and have read everything I can find in an effort to compare your beautiful MyT with an AP Mach 1. In terms of hardware/software value per dollar spent, SB appears to win hands down.
After thoughtful conversations on Cloudy Nights with SB owners, (some who also have AP mounts), I have had several recommendations to go the AP route based upon quick setup and ease of use Vs. the steep learning curve involved with the Bisque universe.
I desire a simple and timely polar alignment with two basic functions. Find the object (close enough) and track it so I can start shooting, but I am intimidated by the apparent struggle that is reflected in the user group posts and CN advice.
Please push me over the line and tell me about some new alignment wizard, or something that will make the MyT my grab and go buddy. I've been waiting since December to buy an AP Mach1 and they are not taking orders at this time. (It's a grand more with all of the stuff I need to use it)
Respectfully,
Elliot - Morrison CO
