TheSkyX Graphics anomolies

Hi,

Thanks to Software Bisque for being at the recent AIC in Santa Clara--after discussions, I bought the Sky-X pro package.  I am stunned by the simplicity of the installation and intuitive interface, thank you.  Everything has fallen into place as expected, however, I am seeing some graphics oddities--these are not emergencies and are easily fixed up by restarting the program....I would like to at least understand what I'm seeing, if not actually eliminate the issues.

Two oddities:  1)  some star labels oscillate left/right about 1/2 character width....this is at least partially effected by zoom level.........that is, if the problem is happening, a zoom change of about +/- 5 zoom clicks usually clears up the oscillating label.  2)  Sometimes when I start the program, the Messier object labels are garbled--for example, M39 was reading "M ild" -- other Mxxx items had various garbled characters.....these were not effected at all by zoom levels.  They did clear up by restarting the program.  As far as I can tell, this only happens with Messier labels.

This is a win7 64 bit machine -- rampage 4 extreme mother board, 16gb memory, i7 3960 cpu, GTX690 graphics board, X79 chip set.  This was built as a killer gaming machine and repurposed for observatory control and image processing.......all drivers check out as being current.  This is way more horsepower than should be needed.

I'm assuming this is peculiar to my setup but I can't find what it might be.

again, no urgency--just looking for insight into what's happening.

thanks
