WINDOWS 10 RECOMMENDS THE PARAMOUNT SOFTWARE SUITE THUMB DRIVE MUST BE FORMATTED

ISSUE

Shortly after inserting the Paramount Software Suite USB drive, Windows 10 displays a window with the message, "You need to format the disk in drive <Letter Here> before you can use it:

Please click Cancel to ignore this misleading message.

BACKGROUND

The Paramount Software Suite that is included with all Paramount mounts includes a thumb drive with installers for macOS, Linux, Raspbian, and Windows operating systems.  Each installer resides on a separate "partition" or "volume" on the thumb drive.

Windows 10 does not recognize the macOS partition or volume and assumes the drive must be formatted.  Please do not format the drive by clicking Format disk!

The above is not an issue with the thumb drive itself, but a limitation of the Windows 10 operating system.
