I have owned and operated my Paramount ME since the early 2000's (2003-4 ? ). It has operated flawlessly in my observatory.
However, I have upgraded my computers several times since 2003. Now it seems I have a problem integrating T-Point and "The Sky Pro Version 6" ( I upgraded from "the Sky Level 5" which came with the mount ) I bought a T-Point ADD ON later.
If I go back to the older computers and open "The Sky / Edit / Insert New Object / T-Point model appears in the drop down list but when I go to my newer computers and do the same T-Point does not appear. I do get a dialog box about trying REGEDIT because portions of the programs fail to register when I try to copy them to a newer computer.
Now that I have stated my problem my question is this. If I purchase a new version of the "The Sky" for several hundred dollars will I be able to integrate both T-Point and the "The Sky" ? I should mention that I bought a Universal Subscription several years back but I let that subscription lapse. During the subscriptions active period I updated all of my software so I have several versions and serial numbers. I have tried every possible combination I can think of but nothing seems to work I am decent with computers but nowhere near an engineer or programmer's experience.
