I am planning on installing a RiLA 600 f5 Riccardi Astrograph on a Paramount Taurus Equatorial Fork. This is a perfect match in my opinion. But I live in Norway, which is 58-71 degrees N. 62 would be enough for my purposes, at 60.5.
58 with the Taurus, is a surprisingly limited amount. Especially when the all the prior models have been higher. Is it possible to order custom units with extended range? What's behind the decision to go for 58?
