Often, when I try to connect TheSky to the mount I get the message that the mount is not responding. After two or three times, it will connect. This may be a problem with the cable connections, since the system has not been turned on for several years. I will spray every connection I can get to with electrical spray cleaner.
A major problem I had tonight was TheSky wouldn't stay connected to the mount. Every time I slewed, TheSky lost connection with the mount. I got the error code 1009 (3f1).
Someone on the Forum suggested that I might want to upgrade TSX to the latest edition just to be sure it isn't a software issue.
What is TSX and how can I upgrade it. My mount is a GT 1100 and I am using TheSky Version 5
